We are glad to announce that Cristina Suárez-Gómez (from the ViEW project) has been invited to be one of the Plenary Speakers at ICAME 42, to be held at Dortmund both on-site and online in August 18-21, 2021. Her plenary lecture will be concerned with the topic of the conference, "Crossing boundaries through corpora", and will deal with Gibraltar English in the light of corpus linguistic work and with Gibraltar's special status within the World Englishes paradigm. The other plenary speakers are Naomi Nagy (University of Toronto), Martin Schweinberger (The University of Queensland, Australia) and Benedikt Szmrecsanyi (KU Leuven)
