On 16 Dec 2023, LVTC-member Prof Elena Seoane co-chaired the First Multilingualism Workshop at the Faculty of Philology and Translation in Vigo, with the scientific and social purpose of raising awareness of the social complexity and cultural richness of multilingual communities, as well as of the danger faced by minority languages. More than fourty students from the Universities of Vigo and Leiden participated in the event, along with experts in multilingualism.
