The University of Vigo will lay the foundation for the Language and Cognition Lab at the Faculty of Philology and Translation, a project that will be implemented thanks to generous funding from the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities (291,000 Euros). The lab is led by Rosalía Rodríguez Vázquez and Miguel Cuevas, members of the LVTC research group. With this grant and additional funding from Xunta de Galicia and the University of Vigo, the equipment that will be purchased will lead to competitive research in the fields of psycholinguistics, acoustics, neuroscience, telecommunications, statistics, etc.
