On 9 July 2025, David Tizón-Couto gave a guest lecture at Ludwig-Maximilians Universität Munich on the cognitive representation of multi-word sequences in spoken English. His lecture ‘Frequency information and phonetic reduction in L1 and L2 perception of multi-word sequences’ examined the influence of frequency and phonetic reduction on the perception of multi-word sequences by comparing native speakers with advanced L2 learners.
