EEG and psycholinguistic research

25/09/2026

On 25 Sep 2026, the Language and Cognition Laboratory (Lang&Co Lab) and LVTC hosted the seminar “EEG Applied to Psycholinguistic Research”, delivered by Isabel Padrón Rodríguez, EEG expert and researcher at the University of Santiago de Compostela. The seminar brought together several LVTC members, alongside the Lab’s two directors. The session provided an opportunity for linguists and translators to explore the principles and main applications of electroencephalography (EEG) in the study of language processing, as well as the potential of this methodology for future research in (psycho)linguistic research.
