Yazmin Pinto graduated from Machala Technical University. (Machala, Ecuador). She obtained a Master's Degree in Pedagogia de los Idiomas Nacionales y Extranjeros in 2019. Her article was focused on communicative skills and she published it in a book book that will be released very soon. This academic experience inspired her interest in linguistics and society. During this time, she was supervised by Dra. Rossana Ramirez who inspired her to continue the PhD program at Vigo University.
Currently, she is developing her PhD thesis under the supervision of Dr. Rosalia Rodriguez (University of Vigo). The thesis interests rely on English and Ecuadorian-Spanish intonation patterns.
